Grocery Relief holiday boxes now available online

Angel Food Ministries has made the Thanksgiving box and the Christmas box available for online pre-ordering. Both holiday boxes cost $36 each.

Grocery Relief at New Covenant will begin taking in person orders at the September distribution on Saturday, September 25th. Due to USDA regulations, Vision card orders for the holiday boxes cannot be placed until 35 days before delivery. That means that Thanksgiving EBT orders begin October 16th, and Christmas EBT orders begin November 13th.

The Thanksgiving box will be delivered with the November regular distribution, on Saturday, November 20th (which is the 3rd Saturday).

The Christmas box will be delivered with the December regular distribution, on Saturday, December 18th (which is the 3rd Saturday).

The contents of the Thanksgiving and Christmas boxes are the same. They each include 7.5 lb. (avg.) All Natural Perdue Roasting Hen, 3 lb. Boneless Netted Ham Roast, 12 oz. Corn Bread Stuffing Mix, 1 lb. Frozen Cranberries, 12 ct. Mini Corn Cobbettes, 2 lb. Green Beans, 2 lb. Diced Sweet Potatoes, 12 ct. Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls, 1.7 oz. Brown Gravy Mix, Dessert, and Recipes and Cooking Instructions.

  1. what do we have to do to order from you? I am a 44yr single female who is disabled but SRS says that my $774 ss is too much to qualify for a vision card.

  2. All you have to do to order is to come by the church during an order time or order online. There are no income restrictions, high or low. If you can pay for a box of food then you can buy as many as you want.

We take cash and Vision card in person. Credit and debit cards can be used for online orders.
